‘India To Remain World’s Fastest-Growing Economy In Years To Come’: PM Modi At MP Global Investors Summit

Invest MP Global Investors Summit 2025: PM Modi says an important representative of OECD says the future of the world is in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the two-day ‘Invest MP Global Investor Summit’ (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal.

Citing the World Bank’s ‘Global Economic Prospects’ report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said India will continue to be the world’s fastest-growing economy in years to come. Speaking at the MP Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, PM Modi said the country is also emerging top supply chain player for global aerospace firms.

“Recently, the World Bank said India will continue to remain the world’s fastest-growing economy. According to an important representative of OECD, the future of the world is in India,” PM Modi said, while speaking after inaugurating the mega ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit-2025’ in Bhopal to showcase the state’s infinite possibilities for investors and industrialists.

On Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said, “The state gives ample opportunities of excellent returns for investor. Speed of development in Madhya Pradesh doubled after ‘double engine’ govt in state. With a strong talent pool and thriving industries, Madhya Pradesh is becoming a preferred business destination.”

He also said deregulation commission will help create investment friendly regulatory ecosystem in state.

PM Modi added that textile, tourism and technology sectors will generate crores of jobs.

“The world is liking ‘heal in India’ mantra,” he added.

PM Modi inaugurated the two-day ‘Invest MP Global Investors Summit’ (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal. The summit will welcome entrepreneurs from 60 countries, 13 ambassadors, six high commissioners, and several consul generals. Prominent industry leaders, including Kumar Mangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, Nadir Godrej, Piruz Khambatta, Baba N Kalyani, Rahul Awasthi, and Neeraj Akhoury, are also set to attend.

Meanwhile, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Monday announced new multi-sectoral investments of over Rs 1.10 lakh crore for Madhya Pradesh that, he said, would create over 1.2 lakh jobs in the state by 2030.

Adani, who was speaking at MP Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, also said the Group is in discussions with the state government for a greenfield smart city, an airport project and a coal-gasification project that would involve an additional investment of Rs 1,00,000 crore.
