India will face Australia in a five-match Test series. The series opener is scheduled to take place at Optus Stadium in Perth from November 22 onwards, and the next four matches will be played at Adelaide Oval (December 6-10), The Gabba in Brisbane (December 14-18), Melbourne (December 26-30), and Sydney (January 3-7). India has won the last four editions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, two of which were played on Australian soil.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India will be desperate to complete the hat-trick of series wins this time around and also take revenge for defeat in last year’s World Test Championship (WTC) final. If India manages to win at least four Tests in the upcoming series, it will also confirm the Rohit Sharma-led side’s place in the WTC 2025 final, which will be played at The Lord’s next year.
