Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill got the starts but failed to convert them into something significant. Even though India have scored at a rate of 5.33, they have lost wickets too.
At the close of play on Day 3, India were 128/5, trailing Australia by 29 runs. Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy have counterpunched, but the duo will need to bat out of their skins to bring their team back into the contest.
