There is no turning away from Operation Sindoor, and many in the realms of sport have taken notice of the same, showcasing their support for their country.

On the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday, India launched a series of targeted precision strikes under ‘Operation Sindoor’ against terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), almost a fortnight after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir were targeted in the strikes. However, no Pakistani military facilities were hit, reflecting India’s calibrated and non-escalatory approach.

The operation marks a significant escalation in India’s counter-terror strategy following the Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 26 civilians, including a Nepali national.

In the midst of everything unfolding, various sporting personalities have taken to social media to voice their support for their country and ‘Operation Sindoor’ undertaken in the name of revenge for those whose lives were claimed in Pahalgam.

Indian Army sources confirmed that the objective of ‘Operation Sindoor’ was to dismantle launchpads and camps used by terror groups operating from across the Line of Control (LoC).

Military activity has surged in the Kashmir Valley, particularly around Srinagar, where heightened air traffic indicates increased operational readiness and surveillance.

The Indian Army released a brief video on X after the operation, declaring: “Justice is served.”
