Infosys Pay Hike
Infosys Salary Hike 2024-25: India’s second-largest software company, Infosys, will issue salary hike letters to its employees by the end of February, with average increases expected to range from 5% to 8%, according to sources familiar with the matter, as reported by Moneycontrol.com.
The salary hikes, for the fiscal year 2024-25, will take effect from April.
The increases come as the demand environment improves, with many IT companies expecting technology budgets to rise in the upcoming fiscal year. Indian IT firms, which generate most of their revenues from North America, report that discretionary spending is on the rise, with more companies now willing to invest in transformative projects after a two-year hiatus.
The report also states that Infosys has begun issuing promotion letters in batches, with the first batch being sent out at the end of December, and another batch planned for the end of February.
On January 16, the IT services giant announced it would implement 6-8% annual salary hikes for its employees in India starting January 2025. This marks the first phase of its planned salary revisions, with a second phase set for April 2025.
“Broadly, the expected annual salary increment in India is 6-8%, and the overseas increments will align with previous compensation reviews,” said Infosys Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka during a press conference after announcing the third-quarter results for the period ending December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25).
Infosys employs over 3.23 lakh professionals.
