Who is Harris Dickinson?
Harris Dickinson was born on June 24, 1996, in Leytonstone, an area of East London.
He attended Ravensbourne School and worked part time from the age of 14 in various jobs.
The star already had an interest in performing but tried to find a way into the industry in production, where he would worked as a assistant camera operator for music videos and documentaries.
By the time he was seventeen he dropped out of school, where he was trying to study film and theatre and almost opted for a career in the Royal Marines.
‘I was in the Marine cadets from age, like, 14, and I really enjoyed it. It sort of gave me this purpose that I otherwise didn’t have,’ he told Chris Evans on his breakfast show. ‘
Acting was something I was simultaneously doing. But I never imagined it would be a career.
‘It was weird because even at a young age, we used to go on these training camps, and we were shooting rifles and stuff.’
However, he returned to the theatre in Walthamstow after his coach at RAW Academy persuaded him, which led to him being cast in a play called Angels by actor Pauline McLynn.
Dickinson was just 18 years old at the time and the role led him to be accepted into the Royal Academy theatre school in London.
However, work was slow to star with, despite being cast in a Volkswagen commercial and tried going to Los Angeles for pilot season.
In a bid to stay afloat, he would work at Hollister to save money for his trips back and forth, hoping for his big break to arrive.

He portrayed Frankie and was praised by The Times critic Ed Potton for having ‘perfected a south Brooklyn accent’
‘I remember, I’d be in the basement folding clothes, and I’d get a call from an unknown number,’ he told The Guardian. ‘And an unknown number always meant it was my agent. So every time, I thought: ‘This is it! I’m out of here!’ And I’d rush upstairs and listen to the voicemail and they’d be like: ‘Yeah, you didn’t get it.’
Dickinson also worked in a hotel – a job he would leave multiple times for other work.
‘I got some pilot, and I told the hotel: ‘Sorry, guys, that’s me! I’m off to Hollywood!’ he explained. ‘Then two months later I had to waddle back in and ask for my job back.’
It wasn’t until 2017 that he was cast in the American coming-of-age drama film Beach Rats, which was directed by Eliza Hittman.

He also received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead and the Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Actor.
Since his big breakout, he has landed roles in a number of films including A Murder at The End of The World alongside Emma Corrin, The Iron Claw with Zac Efron and Allen White, the WWII drama Blitz, and playing the superhero in The Eternals.
The actor also had a role in the award-winning Triangle of Sadness.

Who has Harris Dickinson dated?
Dickinson tends to keep fairly private about his personal life, but he is dating musician Rose Gray.
The pair live in London with their cat and can frequently be seen attending events together.
While they haven’t openly spoke about when they started dating, a Hunger interview with the pair reported that they’ve been together since their teenage years.
Last year Dickinson directed a video for Gray’s single Afraid of Nothing which was their second collaboration since her song ‘Blue’.
Dickinson said that their close relationship helps them creatively as he told Hunger: ‘It’s also testing for a relationship because you’ve got to open yourself up to a different kind of dynamic.
‘But it definitely helps with the closeness because you can get to things quicker without that sense of carefulness and trepidation around being offensive.
‘We’re so close that we can just be very direct. And I think she was the same with me, where if I had a cr*p idea, she’d say, “No, we’re not doing that.”‘
