This is the spine-chilling sci-fi bar inspired by the Alien franchise and has been dubbed by visitors as ‘unforgettable’.

The surreal bar is filled with eerie bones, twisted architecture, and spine-like ceilings.

And it gives visitors the ultimate dose of sci-fi chills – all thanks to the legendary artist behind the Alien franchise, H.R. Giger.

Tatiana Andreeva, a 39-year-old Swiss travel influencer, recently visited the bar that was nestled in the peaceful village of Gruyères.

She shared a viral video of her experience racking up nearly 21 million views with many fellow fans comments flooding in awe of the hidden gem.

Her footage showcases the bar’s haunting interior: vaulted ceilings shaped like alien spines, bone-textured walls, walls of faces and intricately sculpted furniture.

Designed by the late H.R. Giger, a Swiss painter, sculptor, and Academy Award-winning set designer, the bar pays homage to his legacy.

Tatiana said: ‘It’s nothing like your average cozy café.

‘The entire place feels like you’re walking through a sci-fi horror dream.

‘The Alien coffee, served with meringue and Gruyère double cream, is absolutely worth the trip!

‘No booking is needed it’s first come, first serve.

‘It’s an unforgettable experience.’

Giger’s work on Alien (1979) earned him an Oscar for Best Visual Effects and cemented his place as one of the most influential visual artists in film history.

His signature ‘biomechanical’ style has shaped the worlds of sci-fi, horror, and fantasy for decades.

And Tatiana added: ‘While Ridley Scott directed the film and Dan O’Bannon wrote the script, it was Giger who gave the creature its unforgettable look.

‘His vision was and still is iconic.’
