Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings, IPL 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders will face Chennai Super Kings in the 57th league match of the Indian Premier League 2025 season on Wednesday. With 11 points in as many games, KKR are sitting at sixth in the points table whilst CSK are at the bottom with just four points from 11 games and have already been eliminated.
KKR still have an outside chance of making it to the playoff stages, but that depends on whether they can win all their remaining games and hope that sides like the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings are unable to win their games.
For Chennai Super Kings, they will look to play for pride and also test out their combinations in order to give them clarity as to who they want to back for the next season.

The previous game at this venue saw a dry pitch being used. The last game held at this ground also saw there being considerable turn on offer for the slower bowlers. Expect spin to play a big role, but that being said, bowlers tend to get punished if they don’t hit the right lengths at this ground. The previous game here saw over 400 runs being scored, and it would not be surprising to see the same in this game as well.

KKR vs CSK: Players To Watch Out For
Angkrish Raghuvanshi: The young batting star from Mumbai has been amongst the most impressive players for the defending champions. Barring Ajinkya Rahane, it has been Raghuvanshi who has shown consistency with the runs. The franchise will hope that he can come good once again and show that he is definitely one of the big stars for the future.
Andre Russell: The explosive all-rounder has finally shown signs of form after his recent exploits against the Rajasthan Royals. Whilst it may be a bit too late, there is still a lot at stake for the title-holders who will rely on his big-hitting abilities with the bat and also rely on his bowling output to ensure that they remain in the hunt for a top-four finish.
Ayush Mhatre: Another youngster from Mumbai, who took his game to a new level, where he narrowly missed out on his maiden century against RCB. That being said, he has shown that he can score the big runs and CSK will be banking on the young talent to come through once again to possible give them some crucial points to salvage what has been a disappointing campaign overall.
