The BCCI on Monday night announced a revised schedule for the remainder of the IPL 2025 which was suspended last week in wake of the escalating tensions at the India-Pakistan border. A league match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was abandoned midway citing technical failure before the season was suspended for a week.

After consulting the government and all the stakeholders, the BCCI has finalised the schedule with the remaining league matches to be held across Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

However, the board hasn’t revealed the venues for the three playoffs matches and the final.

As per the original schedule, Hyderabad was to host the first qualifier and the Eliminator. On the other hand, the second qualifier and the final were to be held in Kolkata.

“Venue details for the playoff matches will be announced at a later stage,” the IPL said in a statement.

The dates though have been confirmed. The first qualifier will be on May 29 followed by the Eliminator on May 30.

The second qualifier will be played on June 1 while the final on June 3.

“The BCCI takes this opportunity to once again salute the bravery and resilience of India’s armed forces, whose efforts have enabled the safe return of cricket. The Board reaffirms its commitment to national interest while ensuring the successful completion of the league,” read the statement.
