Most Wickets in IPL 2025, Purple Cap: Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna picked up two wickets each for Gujarat Titans on Saturday (March 29) to help the Ahmedabad-based franchise beat five-time champions Mumbai Indians by 36 runs in the IPL 2025 match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While Siraj clean bowled MI openers Rohit Sharma (8) and Ryan Rickleton (6), Krishna dismissed Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 39 and 48 runs, respectively.
In addition to them, spinner R Sai Kishore also picked up one wicket for 37 runs in his quota of four overs for GT. The figures of 1/37 helped Sai Kishore take his tally of wickets to four in two matches of IPL 2025, and he moves to the No. 5 position in the list of bowlers with most wickets in the 18th edition of the world’s richest franchise cricket league.
For Mumbai Indians, captain Hardik Pandya picked up two wickets for 29 runs in his quota of four overs, and one GT batter each was sent back to the pavilion by Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Satyanarayana Raju.

CSK’s Noor Ahmad, with 7 wickets to his name, is leading the Purple Cap race and is followed by LSG’s Shardul Thakur, who has picked up six wickets in two matches.
RCB’s Josh Hazlewood, with five wickets, is in third place, and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed takes the No. 4 position with four wickets to his name in two matches.
Khaleel and Noor will be in action on Sunday night when CSK take on Rajasthan Royals in their third league stage match of IPL 2025 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
