Indian Premier League side Chennai Super Kings completed the swoop to bring Noor Ahmad to the MA Chidambaram Stadium with their Rs 10 Crore bid at the IPL 2025 Auction in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The 19-year-old Afghan bowler was roped in by Stephen Fleming and Co. and the crafty spinner will look to continue his fine showings from his time with the Gujarat Titans.

Chennai Super Kings also managed to buy back Rachin Ravindra and Devin Conway, in addition to homeboy Ravichandran Ashwin at the auctions.

Lucknow Super Giants broke the bank for the services of Rishabh Pant as LSG owners saw it wise to splash an incredible 27 Crore Indian Rupees on the Indian wicketkeeper-batter.

Kagiso Rabada was sold to Gujarat Titans for 10.75 Crore Rupees, while Arshdeep Singh was retained by PBKS as they used their right to match an 18 Crore Rupees offer for the Idnain southpaw.

Englishman Jos Buttler was picked up by the Gujarat Titans for Rs 15.75 Crore Rupees.

Shreyas Iyer, who led Kolkata Knight Riders to the IPL 2024 title, was bought by the Punjab Kings who paid 26.75 Crore Indian rupees in a record deal.

KKR splashed 23.75 Crore Indian Rupees to hold on to southpaw Venkatesh Iyer in a big-money move.

Australian southpaw David Warner, who led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the IPL title in the year 2018 and most recently represented Delhi Capitals, did not have any takes at the mega auction in the Middle East.

The Aussie has been one of the most consistent performers in the Indian Premier League with a willow in his hand, but none of the teams opted to raise their paddle when the maverick batter’s name came up at the auction.
