IPL Points Table: Sai Sudharsan’s fiery 82, coupled with an all-round bowling performance headed by Prasidh Krishna saw the Gujarat Titans seal a commanding 58-run win over the Rajasthan Royals, and move up to the top spot of the IPL 2025 standings on Wednesday.
Sudharsan lit up the evening with a dazzling 53-ball 82, while explosive cameos from Jos Buttler (36), Shahrukh Khan (36), and Rahul Tewatia (24) propelled GT to a formidable 217/6.
The bowlers then kept chipping away, striking at regular intervals to keep Rajasthan on the back foot despite fighting knocks from Shimron Hetmyer (52) and skipper Sanju Samson (41).

The visitors were eventually bowled out for 159 in 19.1 overs, as Rajasthan suffered their third loss of the season.

With their win today, Gujarat Titans rise to the top of the IPL 2025 standings currently, having registered 4 wins out of 5, securing 8 points.
Unbeaten Delhi Capitals drop down by just one place to second with 6 points and an exceptional NRR, but also have two games in hand over GT.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru sit tight at the third position, having secured 6 points with 3 wins from 4 games, but with a lower NRR compared to GT.

Punjab Kings follow suit, trailing RCB due to their lower NRR of 0.289 compared to Bengaluru’s 1.015, but sit cozy at fourth with 6 points of their own.
Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, also sit with 6 points but trail PBKS due to their dismal NRR of 0.078.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals occupy the places from six through seven with 4 points each and are separated based on NRR alone.
Mumbai Indians, barely escape the bottom of the barrel, with one win in 5 outings, as they settle for a measly eighth place in the table currently.
Chennai Super Kings, who have just a solitary win in five outings this season, occupy the penultimate position in the standings, with Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have one win in as many as five games, sit at the very bottom of the table.
