Iran officially announced its withdrawal from nuclear negotiations with the United States. The decision comes amid heightened hostilities following Israel’s large-scale military strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites and Tehran’s retaliatory drone barrage.

The Iranian foreign ministry said continued aggression from Israel, as well as what it called “American complicity,” had made further dialogue “futile and unacceptable.”

The United States has denied any involvement in the Israeli strikes.
