Charlotte Chilton has been forced to deny rumours a former Traitors star is the father of her baby after Conor Maynard says a negative paternity test has ruled him out.
The man, whose name MailOnline has chosen not to reveal, is said to have told friends he believes there’s a chance he could be Penelope’s father following claims he and Charlotte, 34, were intimate in early 2024.
But he is yet to do a paternity test to determine the outcome, with a source revealing to MailOnline that he is ‘burying his head in the sand.’
The latest revelation comes after pop star Conor, 32, released a statement last month saying the results of a paternity test concluded that he is not the five-month-old’s father, despite Charlotte’s claims.
Charlotte has insisted that the DNA test taken by Conor, which he says was done in the presence of lawyers, was ‘inaccurate’, telling fans she refuses to be ‘silenced.’
Hitting back at new speculation surrounding the paternity of her baby, she’s adamant her Traitors co-star is not the father of her daughter.

A source told MailOnline: ‘A former contestant on the Traitors has told pals he and Charlotte slept with each other following a celebrity party in early 2024.
‘They both had a lot to drink and ended up spending the night together.
‘Charlotte has said it’s not possible he could be the father but he’s admitted to feeling stressed over the situation. Still, no paternity test has been done.
‘Right now, the feeling is that he is burying his head in the sand.’
Charlotte, who gave birth to her daughter Penelope last October, starred on season two of Claudia Winkleman’s show, which saw Traitor Harry Clark win the six-figure cash prize.
She competed on the BBC series in 2024 alongside fellow cast members Mollie Pearce, Zack Davies, Paul Gorton, Dianne Carson and her son Ross, as well as Jaz Singh, Jonny Holloway and Jasmine Boatswain.
The former reality star was married to a woman when she signed up to the show but confessed to bedding Conor following a Traitors after-party and falling pregnant, with her now raising Penelope on her own.
She publicly alleged Conor, whose influencer sister Anna is in a relationship with champion Harry, was the father before he rubbished her claims.

On Wednesday evening, Charlotte claimed she is ‘not allowed’ to give her side of the story yet following Conor’s insistence over the paternity
Last month, Conor stated on Instagram that a paternity test which he took in the presence of Charlotte’s lawyer confirmed he isn’t the baby’s father.
He said: ‘Today I’ve received the test results which confirm that I am not Penelope’s father. I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.’
Charlotte, who suffered seven miscarriages undergoing IVF with her ex-wife, hit back after Conor told his 2.9million fanbase on Instagram that he isn’t the baby’s father.
She raised ‘suspicions’ after Conor changed the location of where he would take the paternity test at the last minute, with Charlotte doubting the test’s accuracy.
But his representatives told MailOnline: ‘It is very difficult to understand how the location of the paternity test would have changed the results.
‘To be clear, this test was conducted by a registered nurse in the presence of Charlotte’s legal representative. The results have clearly drawn a line under the matter, and we can only hope that Charlotte can find a way to move forward.’
On Wednesday evening, Charlotte claimed she is ‘not allowed’ to give her side of the story yet following Conor’s insistence over the paternity.
She shared on Instagram that she is currently holding back on the situation, but will speak out when the time is right.
The statement read: ‘A lot of people want me to address the comments regarding Conor. There will be a time and a place for this.
‘Unfortunately I am not allowed to do this right now… Just know I love all the support I have received and I appreciate all the love we continuously have been receiving! Love Charlotte and Penelope.’
MailOnline has approached The Traitors star in question, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and they did not want to comment.
