As the fever of New Year celebrations grips the entire nation, Ishq Jabariya star Siddhi Sharma is also taking time to reflect on the year, expressing gratitude for the wonderful moments she had this year. Further, she also shared the hopes that she has for the coming year. For the actress, 2024 was nothing short of an adventurous ride, as she recently told a media house in a candid interaction.
In a conversation with Etimes, Siddhi Sharma shared her thoughts on the remarkable year. She said, “2024 has been a very special year for me. This year, I got to meet Gulki through the show Ishq Jabariya on Sun Neo, and I’ve had many wonderful moments. So, I will hug this year goodbye and welcome 2025 in the same way, hoping it will be even more beautiful than this year. Luckily, I got a two-day break from the Ishq Jabariya shoot. Although I’m not an outgoing person in real life, I always celebrate New Year’s with my family. Every year, we plan to visit ISKCON on the 1st, and we always go there to start the year.”
Siddhi Sharma is currently winning hearts for her portrayal of Gulki on Sun Neo’s hit show. Not only she nailed the powerful character, earning fans across the nation but also created countless memories that would be cherished throughout life.
In another interview with Etimes in the past, Siddhi Sharma also revealed the profession she might have pursued if not acting. She shared, “If I weren’t an actor, I’d definitely be a dancer or a model. I’ve always loved being in the creative field because dancing and modelling are where my passions lie.”
Speaking of her show Ishq Jabariya, it airs at 7:30 PM. The plot of the intriguing drama series revolves around an engaging love story centred around Gulki. Gulki is a determined young woman who holds big aspirations and dreams to achieve big while also trying to balance her personal life. Apart from Siddhi, the show boasts a stellar cast including Kamya Panjabi and Lakshay Khurana in key roles. While Lakshay plays the meal lead in the show, Kamya essays the antagonist who keeps throwing challenges at Siddhi’s character’s way. Each character in the show adds depth and emotion to the engaging narrative, compelling fans to be hooked to the screens.
