Israel-Iran Crisis LIVE: Israel Starts Second Round Of Airstrikes, Tehran Declares State Of Emergency

Israel Iran Crisis News Live: The Middle East is on the brink of a dangerous escalation after Israel launched targeted strikes against what it described as key Iranian military and nuclear installations. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have confirmed that the “first stage” of their military operation is now complete, signalling a possible continuation of coordinated attacks. Among the high-profile casualties, Iran’s Army Chief and several top nuclear scientists are believed to have been eliminated in the strikes, dealing a severe blow to Tehran’s defence and nuclear command. Iran state media also reported civilian deaths, including women and children, in the strikes on residential areas of Tehran.

In response, Iran has declared a nationwide state of emergency, as explosions were reported across multiple provinces including Kermanshah, Lorestan, and parts of the capital. Emergency services have been mobilized, and the Iranian military is on high alert. The targeted killing of senior figures has further inflamed the already volatile situation, raising fears of a wider regional conflict.

As the crisis intensifies, the Indian government has issued an advisory urging all Indian nationals and persons of Indian origin in Iran to stay vigilant, avoid unnecessary movement, follow updates from the Indian Embassy, and adhere to local safety protocols.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has distanced Washington from the strikes, stating unequivocally that the US “was not involved” in Israel’s military action inside Iran
