Home Minister Amit Shah launched a blistering attack against Congress, National Conference and PDP, by saying that the ongoing polls will end their family politics.

Intensifying BJP’s campaign for the second of the three-phased Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched a blistering attack against Congress, National Conference and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by saying that the ongoing polls will end their rule.

Addressing a public rally in J-K’s Mendhar, Shah said, “This election in Jammu and Kashmir is going to end the rule of three families: the Abdullah family, the Mufti family, and the Nehru-Gandhi family. This is necessary because these three families have hindered democracy here.”

Had the Narendra Modi-led government not come to power, there would have never been any Panchayat or Block-level elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah added in a sharp attack on Congress, NC and PDP.
