Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has finally began work on her new ‘dream home’ in Sydney’s eastern suburbs nearly two years after buying the waterfront property.
The radio star, 49, took to Instagram on Saturday to share videos of heavy construction equipment knocking down parts of the sprawling mansion.
In one clip, a large crane could be seen demolishing the walls of the original three-storey home, which Jackie snapped up for $13.25million in March 2023.
Another clip featured a time lapse of the decades-old six-bedroom house being torn apart stage-by-stage as the site got ready for construction.
‘And so it begins,’ Jackie captioned the post as she shared her excitement for the build ahead.
The property is located on a clifftop over looking the ocean in the sought-after beach suburb of Clovelly, which lies 9km from the CBD.

Earlier this year, Jackie teased fans with a preview of her amazing design plans for her ‘dream home’, which is costing the star $5.05million, according to Now to Love.
Taking to her Instagram in February, the KIIS FM star showed off her plans to create a chic living space with a stunning multi-million dollar view of the sea.
Another image depicted a beautiful built-in outdoor pool constructed right on the coastline and surrounded by sculptured gardens and palm trees.
Sharing the snapshots of her future home, Jackie tagged prestige architects Madeleine Blanchfield in the post as she revealed who is behind the impressive build.
A spokesperson for Jackie said that the pictures were ‘mock[ups] of options of what her new home will look like’.
Jackie snapped up the property in March 2023 for a massive $13.25million at an open auction.
The house is set back from the road, offering Jackie the privacy she hasn’t had on the narrow streets of her former address.
The high-profile media star had previously complained about intrusive paparazzi as the reason for her sale of her past home.

Jackie gushed over her daughter in a sweet Instagram post on the special day as she made sure to mark the occasion.
She shared a throwback photograph of Kitty cuddling up to their pet dog as she praised her only child in a caption.
‘Happy 14th birthday to the kindest, funniest and most thoughtful girl I know. How did I get so lucky? Love you, Kitty,’ Jackie penned alongside the image.
Jackie shares Kitty with her ex-husband Lee, who she split from in 2018 following a 15-year marriage.
Speaking on her Kyle and Jackie O Show in October, Jackie hinted that a lack of spontaneous romance in their relationship was a catalyst for the split.
‘In a marriage, when you have a child keep on top of that every now and then,’ she told co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Kyle then suggested the marriage may have been saved if she had spent more time preparing dinners for her husband.
‘If you’d have put on a Tuesday taco night it might have been a different ending,’ he said. ‘Rissole Wednesday?’
Jackie replied: ‘I’m not saying that alone saves it, I’m just saying that it is appreciated when you do something nice for your partner. Don’t become complacent.’
