Masaba Gupta’s House of Masaba unveiled its latest bridal collection. Featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the Masaba bride, the designer unveiled her latest line titled Sabr Shukr Sukoon. In a video shared by the brand, Janhvi channelled multiple bridal avatars – fierce, soft, traditional, and modern – representing the evolving identity of Indian brides.
Masaba Gupta’s vision for the 2025 bride is bold and deeply personal. “She can be coy, brave, shy or rebellious. The only thing she needs to be is herself,” says the designer. Each look in the campaign is rooted in individuality, reflecting the ethos of patience (sabr), gratitude (shukr), and peace (sukoon).

Janhvi Kapoor embodies this sentiment in a series of standout ensembles – from a deep rust-brown lehenga to a sindoori red set paired with a dramatic headdress. Another notable look includes an ivory lehenga for the non-conformist bride and a gold dhori skirt-blouse combo adorned with the brand’s signature Sabr Shukr armbandh.
The collection blends Masaba’s hallmark design elements – zardozi, sequin detailing, gota patti embroidery, and layered tassels. Styled with bold gold jewellery, dewy makeup, and floral hair arrangements, the looks are opulent yet grounded. Janhvi’s confidence shines through in every frame, amplifying the collection’s core message: today’s bride writes her own rules.

Masaba reflects on the shifting dynamics of modern womanhood and how that transformation has influenced bridal fashion. “Women today are making braver choices – not just in love, but in life. This collection mirrors that spirit,” she shares.
Sabr Shukr Sukoon isn’t just about bridal wear. It’s about storytelling, self-discovery, and stepping into one’s power, one thread at a time.
