Assembly Elections Exit Polls 2024 LIVE: Shortly after voting ends in Haryana, exit poll predictions for the assembly elections in the northern state as well as Jammu and Kashmir will be published on Saturday after 6 pm.
According to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission (EC) under the provisions of section 126A of the Representation of the People Act, all media outlets, polling agencies and individuals are informed that publication or broadcast of exit poll results may be done after 6 pm on October 5. It said violations of the guidelines may lead to legal action, including fines and imprisonment.
Exit polls will be published by various pollsters, including Today Chanakya, Axis My India, CSDS, C Voter, Times Now among others. News websites will also livestream the highly anticipated predictions. The votes polled in the election will be counted on October 8.
