Joe Burrow reveals he bought $3m piece of iconic movie memorabilia… but he won’t get it for a year

Bengals star Joe Burrow has revealed that he recently treated himself to a new car: a real-life Batmobile.

The quarterback was heard telling his teammates Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins about the vehicle – worth a reported $3million – during the first episode of ‘Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North’.

Burrow said he won’t receive the car for months but the Cincinnati star wants to go ‘all in’ and buy a batman suit, too.

‘Have I told you I bought a Batmobile?’ Burrow tells Higgins in the HBO show. ‘I don’t get it for like a year, but I bought it.’

Earlier this month, it was claimed that Warner Bros is selling 10 ‘fully functional but not street legal’ replicas of the tumbler Batmobile.

The car was seen in Christopher Nolan’s iconic ‘Dark Knight Trilogy’, which reportedly grossed billions of dollars.

Wide receiver Chase told Burrow that he has to complete the look by dressing up as the ‘vengeance Batman, where he had the s****y a** eye thing on’.

Burrow replied, ‘I think I gotta go all in and go for like the expensive Batsuit too… what if I wore it to every game? I just wore the full Batsuit, Batmobile, to every game. I’d go crazy on Halloween.’

Chase replied: ‘That s*** going to be funny as hell. though… that s*** is going to be hilarious. He hops out of that s*** with a cape on!’

After the episode aired, Burrow was asked about the Batmobile during his press conference.

‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,’ he said with a smile before insisting: “That’s the answer you get!’

Burrow, Higgins and Chase were filmed while preparing for last weekend’s clash with the Steelers, when Cincinnati fell to 4-8.

The Bengals were beaten 44-38 by Pittsburgh, further eroding their hopes of reaching the playoffs. Cincinnati sits third in the AFC North, despite Burrow throwing for 3,337 yards and 30 touchdowns this season.
