Podcaster Joe Rogan expressed his concerns about President Donald Trump’s escalation of ICE immigration raids in Los Angeles that extended out to the construction sites.
‘Bro, these ICE raids are ‘fu**ing nuts,’ Rogan said in his latest podcast episode published on Wednesday with comedians Luis J. Gomez and Big Jay Oakerson, citing the latests scenes of the violence taking place in Los Angeles on television
When asked to clarify if the thought it was the raids were nuts or the protests, he replied, ‘All of it is nuts.’
Rogan said that if Trump had campaigned on raiding and arresting illegal immigrants at the Home Depot and construction sites, he would have not earned support during his presidential campaign.
‘I don’t think anybody would’ve signed up for that,’ he said.
Rogan recalled that Trump was going to focus on criminal illegal immigrants first.
‘They said we’re gonna get rid of the criminals and the gang members first. Right? And now we’re, we’re seeing like Home Depots get raided, like that’s crazy,’ he concluded.
One of the guests agreed that it was ‘fu**ed up’ when ICE agents were going to a college campus and arresting a kid who was about to graduate.

Rogan lamented that people who came to the United States illegally from Mexico frequently found employment but ultimately was not able have a path to citizenship.
He recalled visiting ‘completely integrated societies’ in Los Angeles that were ‘fully Mexican,’ but functional.
‘Like going in and raiding those people and putting ’em in jail because they’ve integrated into society in an illegal way. It seems stupid,’ he said.
Rogan said that American corporations did not want to give illegal immigrants citizenship because they wanted to keep enjoying the benefits of cheap labor.
‘If they’re illegal, then you don’t have to pay them as much. And this is where it’s dark,’ he said. ‘This is the dark secret of why people want cheap labor in this country.’

Trump announced Monday that he planned to further escalate immigration raids in major cities.
‘Our Nation’s ICE officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest mass deportation operation of illegal aliens in history,’ Trump wrote on social media.
Trump’s ICE raids in Los Angeles sparked protests from Democratic governors and mayors who argued that the president was needlessly escalating protests in violence.
The president deployed the National Guard and United States Marines to help quell the riots, despite protests from Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass.
But Trump vowed to keep fighting Democrats on the issue.
‘These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it!’ Trump wrote. ‘There is something wrong with them.’
