Jonathan wore a black smart coat and orange tinted glasses as he sweetly put his arm around his wife.

It comes after Jonathan recently revealed he and his wife Jane shower less than once a week – because he feels all grooming is a waste of valuable time.

Jonathan said he and his wife were like a pair of dirty ‘hamsters,’ and he ‘resents’ the fact he has to wash regularly.

He said: ‘Do you think I give enough of a s**t about anything to bother spending any extra time on grooming whatsoever – I resent the fact that I have to shower.

‘I sometimes go at least a week without showering – at least. So does Jane sometimes. We’re like a couple of hamsters in their own straw in that bed.’

Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast, he said he hadn’t showered on the morning of the interview after comedian Josh Widdicombe asked him when he’d last had a shower.

Jonathan, saying he hadn’t done anything to work up a sweat, said: ‘It was yesterday. Why bother doing it two days in a row, what’s wrong with you? I didn’t do any exercise.’

He even confessed he once went two weeks without washing in the Florida heat because he thought he’d been in a swimming pool – but then discovered he still smelled badly.

He added: ‘When we were on holiday – we have a place over in Florida – because it’s sunny and I’m jumping in and out the swimming pool, I probably didn’t shower properly for two weeks.’

Back in February Jonathan proved he hasn’t aged a date in a sweet throwback picture with his unrecognisable wife Jane.

The broadcaster’s daughter Honey took to Instagram to post the adorable snap of her beloved parents when they were younger.

Jonathan and his doting life-long wife looked smitten in the adorable snap, dressed in 70s-attire.

Jane styled a brunt orange collared dress with a striking swipe of burgundy lipstick as she held hands with young Jonathan.

The comedian wore an animated leopard-printed shirt and donned tight black skinny jeans – while still sporting his trademark long locks.

Last year, the couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in August with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

Jonathan wrote a sweet message to his ‘gorgeous soulmate’ as he posted an adorable snap of the pair relaxing in their London home.

The TV personality looked adoringly at his wife of 35 years as she smiled towards the camera, with a lavish bunch of flowers displayed on the table behind them.

The Masked Singer judge wrote alongside the snap: ‘It’s our anniversary!! 35 amazing years with my gorgeous soul-mate! Here’s to the next 70.’

As well as being wife of 35 years to Jonathan, Jane is a woman of many talents as she works as a screenwriter, author and producer.

She has co-written screenplays for the Kingsman: The Secret Service, and X Men: First Class, and she accomplished her first solo screenplay with the 2012 film, The Woman In Black.

Jane met her husband-to-be when she was just 16 years old at an event when she was a budding showbiz journalist and they married two years later in 1988.

Jonathan, who is almost ten years her senior, was at the beginning of his talk-show hosting career when he struck up a conversation with the young journalist.

Jane told The Times: ‘I met Jonathan at some sort of promotional event. He’d just started his show The Last Resort. He’d only been doing it for two weeks, I think.’

Jane added: ‘I can’t remember what we talked about. I wish I could. Honey’s always asking me that, but I really can’t remember.

Jonathan previously said of Jane: 'Jane's my ideal, whatever way she is. We've grown up together and I become more passionate about her as the years go by' (seen in 2009)

‘I think I invited him to some other thing, hoping to see him again. Maybe I was less socially awkward back then.’

Despite not remembering their initial conversation, Jane recalled that the couple connected through their love of American pop culture, science-fiction and horror films.

For Jonathan, there is only one leading lady in his life and that will never change.

He previously said: ‘Jane’s my ideal, whatever way she is. We’ve grown up together and I become more passionate about her as the years go by. For me, it’s only ever been Jane and it only ever will be.’
