Johnny Manziel was conspicuous in his absence from Josie Canseco’s Instagram post this week, as she she omitted her ex-boyfriend despite them attending the same charity event.
Canseco was among the star influencers at Cactus Jack’s 2025 celebrity softball game in Houston, and she gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the event with a recap of the best moments in her latest post.
Viral ring girl Sydney Thomas and her MLB legend father Jose made the cut, but there was no room for Manziel just days after their split, despite them both attending the event.
Separate photos from the night at Daikin Park showed Manziel wearing a similar outfit to Canseco as he was interviewed at the side of the field, but the pair seemingly didn’t have any photos together on the night.
The event came just hours after news of their split was revealed by TMZ, who claimed there is ‘no bad blood’ between the pair despite ending their year-long relationship.
The report added, however, that Manziel ‘had some work to do on himself’. Manziel has been open about his struggles with depression and substance abuse.

But the news did come as a surprise to fans, however, given that in December they shared a steamy video of them both in a bathtub.
It was Canseco who uploaded it to social media to celebrate Manziel’s 32nd birthday.
She captioned the footage: ‘A love like you. My best friend and my forever.
‘I’m so proud of the man you’ve grown into. You are the kindest heart I’ve ever met. How’d I get so lucky. Happy birthday my baby.’
Alongside the caption was a video of Manziel washing his girlfriend’s hair, while the pair sat naked together in the bath.

Manziel and Canseco had been official since April, and appear to have gone from strength to strength since announcing their relationship at Stagecoach music festival.
Canseco is a model and the daughter of six-time MLB All-Star and two-time World Series champion Jose Canseco.
Manziel, meanwhile, is now a business owner and a podcast host, and regularly tells stories of his bad boy past now that he has cleaned up his act.
The ex-quarterback was one of the hottest college prospects of all-time when he left Texas A&M and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2014, but his time with the franchise was overshadowed by a series of off-field controversies.

The ex-football star has not posted any of his own snaps from the event, which occurred on Thursday night in Texas.
It was hosted by rapper Travis Scott, and also attended by Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, Amber Rose, Metro Boomin and ex-NFL star Andre Johnson.
