For the promotions of her upcoming film Maa, Kajol has been serving timeless looks in elegant sarees. However, for her recent look, the actor served fashion goals yet again when she stunned in a fusion Indo-Western look. She stunned in an olive-hued jumpsuit that paid homage to Indian craftsmanship with vintage textiles.
Taking to her Instagram, Kajol shared a series of pictures of her latest look. She paired the jumpsuit with a stack of wooden bangles. In true Kajol style, her caption was just as witty as her. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Why is it called a stack of bangles?? I mean .. what do u do when u can’t stack them? Do u just call them glass circles then, or round objects that u can make of various materials?”

For her recent look, Kajol made a bold statement in an olive green jumpsuit that seamlessly fused tradition with contemporary ease. Crafted by Mumbai-based designer Payal Khandwala, the full-length piece was a refined blend of dupion and mulberry silk, accented with clean satin elements that added a sculptural finish to the textured fabric. The rich olive tone of the jumpsuit was offset by nuanced gradients of burnt copper and cherry red near the hem, lending depth and visual intrigue. With a cinched waistline and front pleats, the silhouette struck a perfect balance between structure and softness.
Details like the classic shirt collar, asymmetrical copper-toned cuffs, and open-button neckline added drama, subtly showcasing the ingenuity of Indian craftsmanship and vintage-inspired weaves. Part of Khandwala’s latest line, Release 13, the outfit represents a thoughtful reimagining of heritage textiles into versatile, long-wearing fashion. Kajol styled the look with a pair of bold gold earrings, an emerald statement ring, and a stack of eclectic wooden bangles. For the glam, she went with an earthy palette: a sleek half ponytail, dewy skin, soft pink lips, and gently flushed cheeks completed the look. Muted eyeshadow, defined lashes, and a touch of kohl gave it just the right edge.
Blending nostalgic glamour with present-day poise, Kajol’s appearance was a masterclass in how to wear Indian textiles with panache.
