FC Goa secured their place in the semi-final of the ongoing Kalinga Super Cup with a 2-1 win over Punjab FC at the Kalinga Stadium in Odisha on Saturday.

Vidal pounced on a rebound as a Mohammad Suhail shot came ball off the woodwork to put the Shers in the lead following the resumption of play after the break, and looked to be holding on for a win before the Gaurs found their way back into the game.
But, just when they looked to be home and dry, clamaity struck for Punjab as Borja got on the end of a Brison Fernandes cross into the area to peg them back on level terms in the final knocking of regulation time. Goa capitalised on the swing in momentum as Yasir rifled on into the back of the net on the back of a failed clearance from Pramveer in additional time to send Goan fans into a state of delirium.

FCG will take on Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the semifinal encounter slated to be held on the 30th of April.
