In a recent interview, the actor revealed the unconventional tactic that she followed when she was younger to break up. She mentioned that she would cheat on her partner and tell them about it later so that they could break up.
In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Kalki Koechlin talked about this unconventional tactic. She mentioned that she would take this step hoping her then-boyfriend would initiate a breakup. The actor said, “I had this tactic back then. I would sleep with someone else and tell my boyfriend, so he would break up with me.” In the same conversation, she spoke about how she had always been firm with her breakups. She added that she never dealt with the uncertainty of wanting to get back with someone after a breakup.
In the same conversation, the actor talked about how she maintains distance from her exes after a breakup. She also advised people to block their exes on social media to avoid unnecessary heartache.
Recently, Koechlin had also spoken about her tryst with polyamorous relationships. She spoke about how she had experimented with this when she was younger and wasn’t looking forward to settling down with anyone. She said, “For me, it was a very different period in my life, I was much younger. I wasn’t interested in settling down, so it was okay. The idea was to be kind of each other’s main person but just also be like an experiment. I know people who have done but I don’t know if I would be able to be as invested in a long term.”
On the work front, she was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. She currently resides in Goa with her daughter – Sappho. She recently married her partner Guy Hershberg.
