Kanika Kapoor stunned in a blush pink ensemble at Serpentine Party.
For the prestigious invite-only Serpentine Party in London this year, Kanika Kapoor was among the few Indian celebrities. Dressed in a sculpted blush creation from Isha Jajodia’s RoseRoom, Kanika brought a quiet kind of drama to the gala, one that whispered elegance while holding unmistakable presence.
Titled Étreinte de Rose, which translates to Embrace of Rose, Kanika Kapoor‘s ensemble married structure with softness. A delicately pleated skirt flowed effortlessly from a corseted pannier-belt bodice that cinched her waist with clean intent. The result was a silhouette rooted in romance, yet grounded in quiet power.
Take a look at Kanika’s Serpentine Party look here.
“The look was very much a reflection of Kanika herself,” shares designer Isha Jajodia. “We wanted something that captured her elegance, but also her strength and presence. The colour was chosen to complement her aura, soft but with impact. Structurally, we added elements like the corseted bodice to give it form and power, which mirrors how I’ve always seen her: graceful, but never fragile. She’s someone who’s believed in Roseroom since day one, and there was something very special about designing this piece for her. It felt personal.”
It took close to two months to bring the piece to life – a process filled with fabric trials, construction refinements, and thoughtful detailing. Subtle lacework, sheer layers, and hand embroidery added movement and texture, while the soft blush tone was chosen to complement Kanika’s innate grace.
Rooted in romance and restraint, Kanika’s look featured a sculpted pannier-belt corset that defines the waist with quiet precision, paired with a pleated skirt in a gentle blush tone. Delicate lace, hand embroidery, and subtle layering come together to create a sense of movement and lightness. Thoughtfully detailed and unmistakably feminine, the piece speaks to a kind of elegance that doesn’t need to announce itself.
But perhaps what gave the look its emotional resonance was the bond between designer and muse. “Kanika has been part of RoseRoom’s journey from the beginning,” says Isha. “Designing for her always feels instinctive. I know what gives her confidence, what sits well on her both physically and spiritually. This look was simply a continuation of that understanding.”
