Just days after lifting the trophy of Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra spent a fun-filled evening partying with some celebrated names in showbiz. In the wee hours of January 29, the actor shared a series of pictures on his official Instagram account from Farah Khan’s house, where the party took place. The photos featured his Bigg Boss 18 co-contestant Chum Darang as well as the actor couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth.
The Pavitra Rishta actor’s post opened with a heartwarming picture of him with Chum and Farah sitting on a couch and flaunting warm smiles. Following this, the Bigg Boss 18 winner took a selfie with the two other. The next photo had Karan and Chum posing with the newly married couple Aditi and Siddharth. In the last picture, the two Bigg Boss contestants posed with actress Huma Qureshi and her actor-brother Saqib Saleem.
In the caption, Karan revealed that the pictures were from the renowned screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar’s 80th birthday bash. He wrote, “Kuch nahi badla hum dewaane thay dewane hee rahey. Hum naye shehro meh reh kar bhi puraney he rahey #happy80thbirthday #jawadsahab #legend Thank you for such a good time @farahkhankunder.”
Karan Veer’s post immediately caught the attention of his fans, who were surprised to see their favourite star with some of the big names in the film fraternity. Not just his fans but also many popular celebrities have dropped sweet comments on his posts. Among them was the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives star Shalini Passi and his Bigg Boss 18 co-contestant Shilpa Shirodkar.
Days before Karan’s Instagram post, Farah Khan shared a post on her account where she announced that the Bigg Boss 18 winner would be seen in one of the upcoming episodes of her YouTube cooking show. The Om Shanti Om director posted a sweet picture with her “favourite contestant” from Bigg Boss. In the caption, Farah mentioned, “Coming soooonnn.. on my YouTube channel.. me n my favourite contestant of Biggboss18 .. @karanveermehra.”
Speaking of Karan’s stint in Bigg Boss 18, the 46-year-old actor beat contestants like Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal and Eisha Singh to take the trophy home, along with a hefty cash prize. The victory is notable because it was his second consecutive reality show trophy, the first one being the 14th edition of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
