Tira, the beauty retail chain of Reliance Retail, unveiled its luxury flagship store on November 13 at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai. Poised to elevate the beauty shopping experience to unprecedented heights, Tira offers an experience that is comparable with the best of global standards in luxury beauty retail.
To celebrate the unmatched retail experience of the flagship luxury beauty store, brand ambassadors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Suhana Khan made a fashionable statement at the launch.
Dressed to kill, The Buckingham Murders star and brand ambassador of Tira, Kareena looked gorgeous in a stunning vintage creation by Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent. The ensemble was from the iconic FW 2002 Runway Show featuring a silk black blouse jacket paired with a skirt with bow.
Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor, Kareena beautifully embraced the bold, off-shoulder black silk taffeta blouse. The velvet trim accents and the bow at the front waistband of the skirt made a glamourous statement on the peach carpet. The knee-length skirt featured ruched velvet and ribbed ribbon detailing down the centre front.
Kareena’s first look from the event was posted by Diet Sabya, who featured a series of BTS images from Kareena’s shoot. Describing the Bebo aka Kareena’s stunning look, Diet Sabya mentioned how the late designer Yves Saint Laurent hated the look designed by Tom Ford. “Bebo in the fabled YSL By Tom Ford 2002 look #23 styled by @rheakapoor. Produced at the height of porno-chic this look was part of Tom’s takeover at YSL that Mr Yves hated and wrote several letters rebuking Tom about it,” shared Diet Sabya.
Well, we don’t know about Yves, but Bebo definitely nailed this silhouette. Kareena’s monochromatic look was enhanced with a sparkling necklace that complemented her stylish look for the evening.
