Keep talking Kamala Harris.

That’s the message the White House shared with the press on Thursday morning just hours after the former vice president and failed presidential candidate criticized President Donald Trump after his first 100 days as president.

‘I think I speak for everyone at the White House. We encourage Kamala Harris to continue going out and doing speaking engagements,’ Leavitt said during the White House press briefing when asked for the president’s reaction to Harris’ speech.

Harris appeared at the Emerge 20th anniversary gala at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on Wednesday, criticizing Trump’s agenda.

‘Instead of the administration working to advance America’s highest ideals, we are witnessing a wholesale abandonment of those ideals,’ she said.

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller said Harris’ appearance was a ‘reminder to the American people of just how blessed we all are that the leader sitting in the Oval Office today is president Donald Trump and not Kamala Harris.’

Miller said that if Harris had won, Biden’s disastrous would have been continued and led to the ‘end of the American Republic.’

‘The only thing Americans want to hear from Kamala Harris is an apology for joining Joe Biden, remember she was the border czar, in aiding and abetting the invasion of our country,’ he said, calling it an ‘eternal stain on the Democrat party.’

Harris only spoke for about 15 minutes at the San Francisco gala, but made it very clear she wanted to continue as part of the political conversation.

She urged Democrats to find inspiration from a group of elephants at the San Diego Zoo during a recent earthquake.

‘As soon as they felt the earth shaking beneath their feet, they got in a circle and stood next to each other to protect the most vulnerable,’ she said. ‘Think about it. What a powerful metaphor.’

She also spoke to politically friendly influencers, urging them to stay together and oppose Trump’s agenda.

‘People also have a right to be tired and to be overwhelmed, so let’s find safe places to be together to talk about that, but ultimately to work through that together and to lock in,’ she said to Zackory Kirk.

Harris also practiced some moves with 2RawTooReal’s Kenny Walden as he taught her the ‘Boots on the Ground’ dance and clacked a rainbow colored fan.

During her speech, the former vice president cautioned Democrats from dismissing Trump’s efforts as ‘chaos.’

‘Understand what we are in fact witnessing is a high velocity event, where a vessel is being used for the swift implementation of an agenda that has been decades in the making,’ Harris said.

She urged Americans to stand against the administration with courage.

‘They are counting on the notion that if they can make some people afraid, it will have a chilling effect on others, but what they have overlooked is that fear is not the only thing that is contagious. Courage is contagious,’ she added.

Harris return to the public stage raises questions about the next step of her political career as she weighs whether or not she wants to run for Governor of California in 2026.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is term limited from running again and is already eying the 2028 presidential race.

Harris remains coy about her political future, keeping her options open as she rests and retools her message for the future.

Democratic strategists in Washington, DC fully expect Harris to run again, but the 2028 field is expected to be competitive.

Harris continues to believe her failed 2024 campaign was ‘nearly perfect’ her advisors say but Biden’s delayed decision to exit the race made it difficult for her to gain momentum against Trump.
