Kesha stuns while Tinashe dazzles as they lead performances during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2025

Kesha and Tinashe led the show-stopping performances for the countdown to 2025 during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday.

The Blow hitmaker, 37 – who stunned as she walked the red carpet ahead of taking to the stage – joined the 2 On songstress, 31, and other music artists amid the festivities. 

The star – whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert – belted out her 2009 hit track Tik Tok as she sang in front of the live audience in Las Vegas.

She showed off her toned figure wearing a fitted, red latex bodysuit as well as red, heeled boots and lace socks underneath. 

Her platinum blonde locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light curls. 

Kesha additionally donned a pair of red gloves and sported fashionable, black shades to accessorize the vibrant ensemble. 

She opted to not add flashy pieces of jewelry to allow her outfit to be the main focal point, and wore a red tint to her lips for a finishing touch. 

As Kesha sang the throwback song, the star showed off some of her dance skills as she also performed choreography alongside backup dancers. 

At one point, colorful confetti and streamers fell down into the crowd who also sang the lyrics with the star. 

Before removing her sunglasses, the beauty strutted down one portion of the stage while holding a bottle of champagne in her right hand – which she later sprayed the audience with. 

Earlier this year, she notably altered the lyrics in Tik Tok from ‘Wake up in the mornin’ feeling like P. Diddy’ to ‘Wake up in the mornin’ like f*** P. Diddy’ shortly before his sex trafficking arrest. 

Tinashe also took to the stage for the big night, and turned heads donning a sleeveless, black top with shimmering, silver details. 

The songstress also wore a pair of matching bottoms and opera-length gloves to coincide with the theme of the ensemble. 

She slipped into over-the-knee, sheer black socks as well as glittering, silver heels that sparkled under the bright lights. 

Tinashe’s hair was parted in the middle, and cascaded down past her shoulders in natural waves. 

The star additionally performed choreography on the spacious stage as she sang her track titled, Nasty – which was dropped months earlier in April. 

It can be found on her 2024 album, Quantum Baby, which was released earlier this year in August. 

Megan Moroney also dazzled as she performed during the New Year’s Eve countdown celebration in Times Square. 

She put on a leggy display wearing a fitted, shimmering gold minidress that was held up with halter-styled straps that wrapped behind her neck. 

The hem of the outfit contained tasseled details and the country singer also opted for elbow-length gloves that were made of the same material. 

Moroney donned a pair of white, knee-high boots and her blonde hair was partially pulled back away from her face, allowing the strands to flow down behind her. 

A layer of mascara was added to her lashes, while a vibrant pink tint was worn on her lips for a final touch. 

Megan brushed aside the rainy weather in NYC and belted out hits such as Am I Okay? and also Man On The Moon. 

At one point, she flashed a cheerful smile as she was briefly accompanied by host Ryan Seacrest following her performance. 

The country star was also spotted strolling near the stage and gripped an umbrella in her hand to help keep her dry from the pelting rainfall. 

Beforehand, she was also seen in a stylish, white coat that was secured with a belt and had a fuzzy trim. 

Alanis Morissette joined the music artists who helped ring in the New Year during the countdown special, and wowed in a pair of glittering, black trousers that were secured with a belt. 

Instead of whisking herself away to the Big Apple, the singer also performed remotely in the city of Las Vegas. 

The Canadian-born hitmaker sported a plain black shirt and bedazzled, black sweater to complete the monochromatic look. 

The star’s long, brunette hair was parted in the middle, and cascaded down naturally past her shoulders. 

Morissette was seen singing a few tracks while surrounded by fans inside the crowded venue, and also performed with her guitar.  

Morissette belted out lyrics to songs such as Ironic – which was released nearly 30 years earlier in 1995. 

She was later joined by Renee Rapp, who is known for taking on a leading role in the musical comedy Mean Girls (2024). 

The Broadway star opted for a pair of fitted, black trousers as well as a black, leather jacket with a fuzzy, tan trim. 

Rapp slipped into a pair of black shoes with thick soles on the bottom, and allowed her blonde locks to cascade down past her shoulders. 

She accessorized her outfit with silver earrings and stood beside Alanis as they performed You Oughta Know for the live audience in Las Vegas. 

Dasha captivated the audience in Las Vegas as she performed her hit track Austin which dropped earlier this year. 

The country singer – whose full name is Anna Dasha Novotny – wore a pair of light blue, embellished denim shorts. 

She also sported a matching, cropped corset top and donned a pair of black boots that had shimmering, silver details.  

Dasha opted for minimal accessories and added a dainty, gold bracelet on her left wrist for a flashy flare. 

The Even Cowboys Cry songstress showed off her choreography skills while joined by other backup dancers. 

She held a cheerful smile on her face during the performance in Las Vegas on Tuesday before ringing in the New Year.   

The star also posed backstage while glancing over her shoulder as she held a microphone in her right hand. 

TLC reunited during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in NYC – with Tionne Tenese Watkins and Rozonda Thomas taking to the stage in the chilly weather. 

The girls group was notably formed back in 1990 in Atlanta with original members being Watkins, Thomas and also Lisa Lopes – who passed away in 2002 at the age of 30.

The duo sang their hit track No Scrubs (1999) as the crowd in Times Square erupted into cheers. 

The two singers donned matching outfits that comprised of black catsuits as well as a shiny, silver outer piece.

Watkins also wore a fuzzy black hat while Thomas sported a similar cap that was made of gray material. 

They were joined by backup dancers who opted for matching outfits to coincide with the futuristic theme. 

Tionne added an assortment of silver rings to her hands to further accessorize her look for the night.

Other hits TLC had the chance to perform during the New Year’s Eve celebration included Waterfalls and Creep. 

Before their performance in Times Square, Thomas reflected on the last time the group had been in NYC after Lisa’s death. 

‘The last time we were in Times Square, it’s kind of bittersweet in a sense,’ she expressed to TMZ. 

‘You know, we lost Lisa and it was amazing to be in that moment to celebrate her but it was horrible because, you know, she was not with us.’

She also admitted to getting nerves before stepping on the stage but shared, ‘When you still love it like that, the fans know, you know? Because when we’re on stage, we’re having so much fun and I love it.’ 

At the end of their performance, confetti was seen falling down around the music artists and the dancers. 

Afterwards, they were also spotted briefly joining Ryan Seacrest during the live broadcast in Times Square. 

The TV personality flashed an excited smile as he greeted the pair on the stage and called them ‘legends.’ 

Seacrest asked how they were able to perform in the drizzly weather and Thomas answered that while it was ‘challenging,’ they are ‘TLC we can do it.’ 

Sophie Ellis-Bextor sang her 2001 hit, Murder On The Dancefloor, in a retro-inspired outfit.

The British singer wore a sequin, silver minidress with colorful floral details and a pink-orange fuzzy trim on the hem and cuffs. 

Blake Shelton took part in the festivities while also performing in Las Vegas and wore a black button up as well as denim jeans. 

The country star sang tracks with his guitar and at one point, was seen lifting a drink into the air along with the crowd. 

He belted out lyrics to Pour Me A Drink at his own bar called Ole Red located on the Las Vegas Strip. 

Carrie Underwood was also seen doing a sound check earlier in the evening wearing a shimmering, gold tasseled outfit. 

Teddy Swims dressed for the occasion as he took to the stage for the New Year’s Eve special in a remote performance in Los Angeles. 

The Lose Control singer wore a sleek, white suit which was paired with a white shirt that was left partially unbuttoned around the collar. 

He added a cream-colored hat on top of his head, while also sporting a pair of stylish shades. 

Swims stood on a white, circular stage and was surrounded by a variety of large, silver balloons that reflected under the bright stage lights. 

Lenny Kravitz sang Fly Away during the countdown celebration and sported a black, leather jacket and black pants during the performance. 

Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas of The Jonas Brothers also took to the stage in NYC on Tuesday. 

Nick opted for a patterned sweater vest as well as a pair of black jeans and a thick leather jacket while joining his brothers. 

Joe was also stylishly casual in denim pants that were cuffed at the bottom and also donned a red, leather jacket. Kevin opted for a black leather ensemble which was paired with a plain, white shirt. 

The trio celebrated the 20th anniversary since their formation – and sang tracks such as Sucker and Play By Music. 

In regards to what fans can expect for 2025, Nick told Seacrest, ‘We’ve got a ton of announcements coming. The first thing up is we’ve got a new song with Marshmello on January 17,’ per Rolling Stone.  

He added, ‘I’ll be making a return to Broadway here next year in a show called The Last Five Years, which I absolutely can’t wait to do.’

Kevin also revealed that the band – which was formed back in 2005 – has plans to embark on a 2025 tour. 

Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick and DJ Cassidy were also part of the performers that helped ring in the New Year. 

Fat Joe dressed to impress wearing a dark green suit as well as a white dress shirt and black bowtie. 

The music artist added a dazzling brooch on the left lapel of his suit jacket and was seen moving about the stage in Las Vegas. 

Doug E. Fresh was also dapper in a pair of black slacks which were paired with a black shirt as well as a black velvet vest. 

Slick Rick donned a velvet blazer as well as black trousers as he joined the others on the stage inside the venue. 

He accessorized the outfit with an assortment of chunky, chained necklaces as well as a large bracelet on his left wrist.  

Slick Rick was spotted joining Ja Rule as they stood next to each other during the performance on Tuesday.
