Khushi Kapoor brought commanding elegance to the Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 runway, closing Rimzim Dadu’s show in an ensemble that felt equal parts art, armour, and avant-garde couture.
In a setting of earthen hues and modern installations, Khushi Kapoor emerged as a futuristic princess warrior, glowing with grit and grace. Her look, a sleek yet powerful interpretation of traditional Indian ornamentation, fused old-world craftsmanship with contemporary innovation. The sculpted halter top, moulded using Rimzim Dadu’s signature pre-oxidised metal technique, mimicked the ripple of molten fabric while offering the strength of sculptural steel. The detailing along the hem, inspired by the delicate links of traditional payals, added a layer of sensual geometry to the otherwise minimal silhouette.
The long skirt featured a chainmail-like pattern, crafted to resemble burnished Banjara jewellery. Each metallic loop was aged to perfection, giving it a tactile, lived-in feel that spoke of history and heritage. This wasn’t just embroidery; it was engineered couture. Taking over two months to construct, Khushi’s ensemble was designed to embody raw elegance, every element meticulously shaped to evoke a sense of armour softened by ornament.
Her styling amped up the narrative: bold emerald jewellery added colour contrast to the monochrome metalwork, while her softly tousled hair and smoky eyes kept the look contemporary and arresting.

From pleated metallic saris to experimental jackets and modular separates, every look was a modern heirloom – designed to empower, not just adorn.
