French footballer Kingsley Coman has reportedly agreed to join Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr. According to reports in German media on Monday (August 10), the 29-year-old footballer who plays as a winger for the Bundesliga club will join the Cristiano Ronaldo-starrer club in a deal worth 36 million euros and will reportedly earn 22 million euros per year as a salary in Saudi Arabia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Coman will sign a three-year deal at Al Nassr, part of an ambitious project after Iñigo Martínez and João Félix.

Last summer as well, Coman was close to leaving Bayern and was chased by multiple Premier League clubs and Barcelona as well as the Saudi club Al-Hilal, but he ultimately did not leave.

“There were contacts, but I immediately said that it didn’t interest me. I’m too young to go there, and I’m entering the best years of my life. I want to play where the very highest level is, and today that’s in Europe,” he later explained to Le Figaro. “I understand those who go there for crazy sums of money that change the life of an entire family,” he said.

At Al-Nassr, Coman would play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo but also Sadio Mané, who has been at the club for two years, and João Félix, who has just been recruited from Chelsea for 30 million euros.

Coman’s record for Bayern

Coman played a total of 339 matches for Bayern Munich in the last 10 seasons and scored 72 goals. In Bundesliga, he made 227 appearances for the Bavarian giants and scored 46 times. With Bayern, he won a total of nine Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, six DFL-Supercups, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup in 2020.

In the final of the 2020 Champions League, Coman scored the only goal against his former club Paris Saint-Germain to help Bayern become European champions for the sixth time.

Prior to joining Bayern, he played 22 matches for Juventus across all competitions and three matches for PSG.

In 58 matches for Les Blues, Coman has scored eight times. He was a member of the French team that finished as runners-up in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
