Protein-rich food is considered to be impactful and healthy as it plays a key role in body growth, repair and functioning.

Eggs are an excellent source of bioavailable protein, which means your body can efficiently absorb and utilise them.

Over-dependence on processed food is known to have disastrous side effects. From risking inadequate nutrition to suffering from type 2 diabetes, obesity and heart disease, excessive intake of processed foods can often result in a wide range of issues. In order to avoid this, it is highly recommended to include protein-rich foods in your daily diet. Protein-rich food is considered to be impactful and healthy as it plays a key role in body growth, repair and functioning. It is also known to be an important ingredient in losing weight. Items like eggs, fish, Greek yogurt and nuts aim for reportedly around 30 percent of a person’s daily diet and this can certainly be a game changer when it comes to losing weight.

While talking to Business Insider, as per The Times of India, American dietitian Nichola Ludlam-Raine described how consuming protein-rich food is both practical and at the same time, balanced. As per the article, Raine had a high-protein diet six years back and she succeeded in losing 35 pounds. Moreover, she is understood to have been able to keep it off.

The article went on to report that Nichola Ludlam-Raine pointed out that she found it too difficult to keep track of her protein count as it was not sustainable. That is the reason why she had to formulate an easy recipe in a bid to stay fit. She reportedly decided that out of the five meals she had in a day—breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, and dessert—four of those, must be protein-rich.

Nichola Ludlam-Raine’s diet, however, was not strict at all as she decided to be flexible and it allowed her to enjoy her meals and manage a maintainable and healthy relationship with food.

While eggs and fish are protein-rich, for vegetarians and vegans meeting protein can be slightly tricky as they do not obtain it from traditional sources like meat and dairy. There are multiple plant-based foods like almonds, lentils, chickpeas and more that can play a key role in helping you to remain healthy and strong.

Apart from these, focusing on nutrient-rich foods promotes longevity and vitality as well. Items like lentils, paneer, almonds, Greek yogurt and chia seeds are understood to be some effective items in this regard.
