Kristen Bell has donated $100,000 US dollars to help people with mounting healthcare costs due to the ‘broken’ healthcare system in America.
The Frozen star generously helped raise money for multiple individuals – including a little girl battle leukemia – after being touched by their stories.
The incredible generosity by the movie star came after Instagram personality Quentin Quarantino direct messaged her to ask if she could help bring awareness to the cause, to which she replied yes and added that she wanted to do more – specifically donate $100K to those in need.
Kristen matched multiple fundraisers – ending up donating $100K to deserving individuals.
Quentin, also known as Tommy Marcus, acknowledged that the healthcare system is broken, noting that the medical fundraisers have a ‘sad element’ – but that ‘this is the system we are working with, and there are so many people who need help.’
Tommy added that while ‘neither Kristen, me, or you reading this can immediately make change happen on a policy level, but what we can do is change the futures of many families starting now.’

Tommy first reached out to Kristen hoping the superstar would share the fundraiser to her page in order for more people to chip in.
The influencer explained in the direct message to Kristen: ‘I had this idea to harness the public energy around the broken healthcare system by sharing one health related GoFundMe every day for a week+ and changing the life of one family per day.’
Adding: ‘I get so many tragic health insurance related GoFundMes sent to me per week Was wondering if you’d be interested in joining along starting tomorrow. Literally zero pressure if any part of that is uncomfortable for you, as you know my followers are already super generous. :)’
‘But could be a big extra boost if they see us collabbing cause, y’know, you’re you haha 🙂 hope you’re well Kristen.’
Kristen replied back: ‘Tommy I saw this still needed 4300 to reach the goal and I read the story and it nearly brought me to tears… I just gave the remaining amount needed. We need to do more things like this, the world needs it. and please send Marisol my love and well wishes.’
The actress later added, after it was revealed that fundraiser reached the goal.’This was amazing – but I wanna do more -how can I give 100,000 to people who need it for medical bills? I want to make sure we do it in the best way how do we do it??’
Kristen told People: ‘something needs to be done, and this is my something.’
Tommy wrote: ‘I truly believe this has the chance to be some of the most important and impactful work we’ve ever done,’ noting that anyone can help by donating, sharing, liking and commenting.

Tommy reminded everyone that once the fundraiser for Murilo – who is battling leukemia – reaches $25K, Kristen will donate $25K in addition to help reach it to the $50K needed.
Twenty minutes later, Tommy revealed they reached the goal and Kristen matched it, helping Murilo with $50K to help against his cancer battle.
