Kursk Incursion “Failed” To Achieve “Key Goal” | West To Send “Expensive” Ukrainians Back For War?

Ukraine’s Kursk incursion was aimed at forcing Russia to divert troops from the frontline, Kyiv’s top commander admitted. However, Moscow didn’t take the bait offered by Kyiv, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi said. “Of course, the enemy understands this, so it continues to focus its main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction,” the top general added.Syrskyi described the situation in Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk as “quite difficult” for the Ukrainian forces. Located in the west Donetsk, Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk sit on key supply roads linking Donetsk with Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia.The Ukrainian president also admitted Kyiv’s failure to force Russian troops out of the region.
