R|Elan presents Athleisure Redefined by Namrata Joshipura at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI. Malaika Arora closed the show in an all-black ensemble.

Malaika Arora stunned on the red carpet in a black ensemble.

Namrata Joshipura took athleisure to an entirely new level at the ongoing Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). R|Elan presents Athleisure Redefined by Namrata Joshipura at the fashion week. Namrata got Malaika Arora on board to close her show.

The designer’s showcase was all about how pushing the boundaries and reinnovating what athleisure means. Namrata Joshipura used the silhouettes of athleisure and gave it her own spin with elements such as sequins, stripes, abstract geometric designs to name a few. The collection featured numerous pieces such as fitted tops, shorts, visor hats, leggings, and bodysuits.

For her showstopper look, Malaika Arora was a vision in black, The actor was dressed in a black full-length sleeveless catsuit. The catsuit came with a round neckline, and it was adorned with sequins all over. The actor layered her bodysuit with a full-sleeved crop jacket. She left the jacket open and carried it on her shoulders like a cape with the zipper closure open. Paired with classic black pumps, Malaika owned the red carpet like a pro.

For the glam, Malaika went with minimal makeup. She flaunted a matte base with just a hint of blush for that flush of colour. Her eyes were defined with mascara and eyeliner. She opted for a matte nude shade on her lips to make sure the outfit did all the talking. She tied her hair in a sleek ponytail,l that makes for the perfect hairstyle for an athleisure look.

Lakmē Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), is being held at The Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai from March 26th to 30th, 2025.
