The laughter is about to get a Bollywood twist as the popular cooking comedy show, Laughter Chefs, gears up for a special themed episode. Hosted by the ever-energetic Bharti Singh, the upcoming week will see the celebrity contestants slipping into their favourite Bollywood avatars. As the kitchen transforms into a Bollywood set, the makers recently gave a peek into the hilarious impersonations and fun banter between Abhishek Kumar and Krushna Abhishek.
The Laughter Chefs Bollywood Night promo opens with Samarth Jurel mimicking Hrithik Roshan from Koi… Mil Gaya and asking his pair Abhishek Kumar, “Aila, jadu?” The Udaariyan actor, dressed as Mohabbatein’s Shah Rukh Khan in a white knitted full-sleeved shirt and matching trousers with a blue sweater around the shoulders, replies, “Jadu nahi Hrithik, Shah Rukh Khan.” Abhishek was even seen striking the signature pose of Shah Rukh Khan.
Levelling up the fun factor, comedian Krushna Abhishek joins in as Agneepath’s Sanjay Dutt. Resting his hand on Kumar’s shoulder, he joked, “Ek minute, ye Shah Rukh Khan bana hain. Pehle mere ko lagta tha ise cooking hi aati nahi, lekin tereko toh sharam bhi nahi aati. (One minute, he is dressed as Shah Rukh Khan. I used to think he couldn’t cook, but now it seems he has no shame as well).”
The comedian then took a jibe at Samarth Jurel, saying, “Tu aur Hrithik! Uske film aayi thi Koi Mil Gaya, iska film ayegi Koi Hil Gaya (You and Hrithik Roshan! His film was Koi Mil Gaya; your film will be Koi Hil Gaya).” His hilarious comment made Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande and other contestants laugh out loud.
Coming to the Bollywood Night episode, Rubina Dilaik will be seen dressed as Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, Ankita Lokhande as Parineeta’s Rekha, Mannara Chopra as Jab We Met’s Kareena Kapoor, Sudesh Lehri as singer Udit Narayan and Abdu Rozik as Sunny Deol, among others. Host Bharti Singh opted for Alia Bhatt’s iconic character Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Speaking about Laughter Chefs season 2, the culinary show premiered on Colors TV on January 27 and has since then kept viewers hooked with rib-tickling situations, cooking disasters and hilarious comedic gags. The reality show is hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and Harpal Singh returned as the host and professional chef. Besides Krushna Abhishek, Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar, the brand new season boasts several well-known personalities, including Kashmera Shah, Rahul Vaidya, Elvish Yadav, Vicky Jain, Sudesh Lehri, Mannara Chopra, Abdu Rozik and Rubina Dilaik.
