Lava is adding new Agni phone to its lineup this week.
Lava’s new Agni 5G phone is likely to come with premium features and an AI camera to the market.
Lava is set to release the latest model in its mid-range Agni series with cameras that enable optical image stabilisation (OIS) and support Dolby Atmos sound quality.
Further details have been shared with Gadgets360 in a report ahead of its official launch. The device will debut in India on October 4 at 12 pm, and the launch event will be livestreamed on YouTube.
Lava Agni 3 India Launch: New Features Expected
The official teaser video for the Lava Agni 3 showcases the phone with a rectangular camera island and curved edges on the back. Singh disclosed that the Lava Agni 3 will have two displays. The primary display will be a 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. He also confirmed the presence of a secondary display on the rear panel, situated next to the camera module. This secondary display will feature a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen and will provide a variety of apps.
The Agni 3 will also include a customisable Action button, a feature that is quite uncommon in this price range.
He added that the handset will also be equipped with a telephoto lens and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset. It is anticipated to include up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage; however, reports do not specify the type of storage and RAM. The Agni 3 may feature a quad-camera configuration on its rear, consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
More details regarding the camera capabilities and other specifications are expected to be revealed during the launch event. Lava is going to offer the new device with Android 14 out of the box and running on its proprietary user interface (UI) which is similar to stock Android. The upcoming mid-range device may house a 5,000mAh battery and support 66W rapid charging.
Lava Agni 3 Price In India Expected
Although the price of the Lava Agni 3 is yet to be disclosed, Singh said that it will be priced below Rs 30,000 in the Indian market. He mentioned that the handset is designed for the mid-range segment and will introduce unique features to differentiate it from competitors.
