Hezbollah’s announcement comes hours after The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the killing of the top leader during a targeted airstrike in Beirut.
Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah on Saturday confirmed that its leader Hassan Nasrallah has been killed in airstrikes launched by Israel.
In a statement, the militant group said that it would continue its battle against Israel “in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defence of Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people”.
