MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell took a page out of Donald Trump’s playbook on Wednesday by giving the president a new nickname.
The liberal TV host tore into Trump’s ‘deranged riffing’ at his latest Cabinet meeting and dubbed him ‘Donny Two Dolls.’
The new moniker could come straight out of a mob drama, but seems to stem from Trump downplaying the effects of his tariffs when he said: ‘Maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more than they would normally.’
Trump’s admission over a less fruitful Christmas this year comes amid widespread criticism over his trade and economic policies – even resulting in record-low polling on the 100th day of his second term.
