‘Living Nostradamus’ makes a chilling prediction about the US election – and warns of ‘alarming’ consequences

A psychic who successfully predicted the Microsoft global outage has claimed the US is on the ‘brink of fragmentation’ ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Athos Salomé, 38, who is often referred to as the ‘living Nostradamus’, has previously had a number of foresights turn out to be true. He predicted the coronavirus pandemic and Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Now, with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris locked in one of the closest presidential races in history, Salomé is offering his prediction for what will happen if Harris is successful.

Steering clear of actually predicting a winner, he says the US will see an ‘organized and systematic reaction’ from the former president and the Republican Party if they lose.

It will resemble the dark days that followed the 2020 election, he says, when Trump challenged Joe Biden’s electoral victory.

Athos Salomé, 38, from Brazil, who is often referred to as the ‘living Nostradamus’, has claimed the US is on the ‘brink of fragmentation’- saying to brace for ‘alarming escalation of tensions’ if Trump loses the presidential election

In an exclusive interview, Salomé told FEMAIL of a strategic move by Republican governors, senators and congressmen, who will openly challenge the federal government.

He said: ‘In 2024, Trump’s defeat will not be a simple political farewell; it will be the start of a coordinated resistance, something unprecedented. If he loses, he probably won’t accept the result as legitimate.’

He added he believes Trump and his team will likely try and contest any defeat in the courts; and will hope to rely on the Supreme Court, which contains a majority of Republican-appointed judges, to support their cause.

Salomé suggested the Republican Party may try to ‘block and slow down measures by the new president’.

The psychic suggested the strategy, if adopted, may later contribute to full-on ‘institutionalized fragmentation’ of society, powered by outlets spreading disinformation.

He believes there is a risk that a ‘parallel reality’ where a significant proportion of the population will see the new elected government as ‘illegitimate, corrupt and a direct threat to ‘true American values’.’

Salomé warned that this perception, which he thinks will most likely affect Trump voters if their candidate doesn’t win, will create a ‘crisis of public confidence’ in American institutions, further dividing the population between those who accept the government and those who believe they live in a ‘camouflaged dictatorship’.

He added: ‘The consequence will be profound alienation, where millions of American citizens will completely disconnect from traditional sources of information, becoming immune to any attempt at reconciliation with the elected government.’

He warned there is a danger of serious conflict in certain states where tensions run highest, and this could result in civil disobedience against the ruling government.

He added: ‘These states, by becoming less responsive to the federal government, could begin a process of decentralization that directly challenges the country’s federal structure.

Salomé claimed this fragmentation could lead the country to a kind of 'divided sovereignty,' where Republican states, encouraged by Trump, adopt a position of massive civil disobedience (picture: Rioters loyal to President Donald Trump rallied at the U.S. Capitol in Washington in 2021)

‘This environment of extreme polarization and distrust of democratic institutions could mark the beginning of an era of fragmentation in the United States, where the very concept of the ‘United States of America’ is threatened.

‘The unity of the country will be at the mercy of a leader who, even out of power, has a unique and unprecedented influence, capable of molding the reality of a significant fraction of the American population’, the Brazilian said.
