Kari Lake is not bothered by MAGA drama.
The former candidate for Arizona governor spoke exclusively to Daily Mail’s Welcome to MAGAland podcast to share her thoughts on tension among Donald Trump’s fiercest supporters.
‘I don’t pay attention to that,’ Lake said on the sidelines of conservative conference CPAC when asked about tensions among Trump allies after Steve Bannon called Elon Musk a ‘parasitic illegal migrant.’
‘I just don’t spend any of my energy on that. I know that deep down there’s respect going both ways there.’
Calling both Bannon and Musk ‘patriots,’ Lake added that the pair respect each other – ‘and they both have a lot to offer’ the Trump administration.
Lake, who has been tasked by Trump to oversee the Voice of America, also revealed that she has no plans of ever running for office again because she distrusts elections in her home state after losing the race for governor in 2022.
‘Arizona is very corrupt… We need to eliminate corruption in the courts, corruption in our elections,’ she told the podcast hosts.
‘And so no, I’m not running for office. I wouldn’t dare run for office again with our election system the way it is.’
Kari Lake said on Welcome to Magaland that she does not spend energy thinking about infighting between loyalists of president Donald Trump
Lake was one of the speakers at the conservative conference, where other MAGA celebrities including Bannon and Musk also addressed the crowds.
Bannon also spoke to Welcome to Magaland, breaking his silence after he was accused of doing a Nazi salute at the conference.
The former White House strategist denied performing the gesture on Friday morning, telling DailyMail.com’s podcast hosts that all he did was ‘a wave to the crowd.’
‘Once again, this is the left-wing media insulting these people,’ he said referring to the crowd of MAGA supporters who turned up to watch his speech on Thursday night.
‘The speech was about them,’ he added.
Bannon said it’s evidence of how ‘petrified’ the media establishment, including the DailyMail.com, was of him.
‘They have to understand something: These people can’t be bought, they can’t be defeated,’ he added.
He also denied the gesture was aimed as a slight at Musk, with whom he’s been feuding in recent months, when pressed by Welcome to MAGAland podcast hosts.
Musk was also accused of performing a Nazi salute at the end of a speech to mark Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington, D.C. on January 20.
‘Elon is doing some great stuff, but I totally oppose him being an oligarch and a trans-humanist,’ Bannon said.

Steve Bannon, who gas called Elon Musk a ‘parasitic illegal migrant,’ denied accusations that he did a Nazi salute at C-PAC
He then added: ‘DOGE is on fire, and as you know, I fully support Elon on DOGE and cutting the government.’
Last month Musk bit his bottom lip, thumped his right hand over his heart, spread his fingers wide, then extended his right arm out emphatically at an upward angle, palm down and fingers together.
After being accused of a ‘Nazi’ salute the Tesla billionaire, who has become one of Trump’s most trusted advisers, blasted his critics, saying they needed ‘better dirty tricks’.
Bannon’s gesture on Thursday sparked similar outrage.
Bannon, 71, was nearing the end of his C-PAC speech when he quickly flashed an extended arm to the side.
The War Room podcast host made the gesture after enthusiastically urging the crowd to ‘fight, fight, fight’ for the country and President Trump’s agenda.
