Mahashivratri – The Grandest of Them All
Among the 12 Shivratris observed throughout the year, one stands out as the most significant – Mahashivratri. Celebrated once annually, this grand occasion takes place in the Hindu month of Falgun on the Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha (the waning phase of the moon). Devotees consider this night extremely auspicious, offering prayers with unwavering devotion and joy. Temples are brimming with worshippers, all seeking the divine grace of Lord Shiva.
