Holidaymakers who like a caffeine fix on their flights might be pleased with what’s brewing now on EasyJet services.
Flight attendants are no longer pouring generic pots of filter coffee, with the airline’s network now serving Costa Coffee-branded beverages on all flights.
The airline says that customers can enjoy Costa Coffee drinks across all 1,184 EasyJet routes covering 170 destinations over 35 countries.
To celebrate the launch, Costa Coffee’s Master of Coffee, Gennaro Pelliccia, surprised holidaymakers onboard an EasyJet flight from London Gatwick to Rome with a ‘special coffee experience’ at 30,000 feet.
Passengers were treated to complimentary goodie bags and free drinks from the new inflight range.

Travellers can choose from a range that includes a salted caramel latte and a classic, frothy cappuccino as well as an Americano, decaf Americano and regular latte.
The onboard menu has been developed in collaboration with EasyJet.
The price of a cup onboard UK flights ranges from £3.75 to £3.95.
Pelliccia commented: ‘It was an absolute pleasure to bring the Costa Coffee experience to life in the sky.
‘Sharing a perfect cup of coffee with passengers as they embarked on their trip to Rome was a dream come true.

On Twitter, poster Trevor Goldsmith called the news ‘excellent’ while others asked if they could use the Costa app onboard flights.
Costa Coffee’s official account clarified: ‘You won’t be able to collect beans/use the app. – Sorry!’
