Heavily-armed specialist police officers have descended on a suburb in Sydney’s southwest.
A SWAT team, Dog Squad, PolAir, specialist paramedics and a BearCat – an armoured black vehicle – were spotted on Andrew’s Road in Varroville early Tuesday morning.
New South Wales Police urged the public to avoid the suburb.
It has not provided any further details of the operation.
