Robert F Kennedy Jr was pictured with Donald Trump and Elon Musk, sharing a McDonald’s meal aboard Trump’s plane, days after he was picked to lead the Health and Human Services Department.

Robert F Kennedy Jr, US President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for health secretary, was seen sharing a McDonald’s meal with his future boss, in a picture shared by Trump’s son on X. This comes days after the duo (Trump and Kennedy) promised to “make America healthy again.”
The picture, also featuring Elon Musk, was captioned “Make America Healthy Again starts TOMORROW.”
During a recent interview, Kennedy Jr asserted what Trump eats, especially on flights, was “poison” and said Trump’s diet during the campaign trail was “really bad”.
“The stuff that he eats is really, like, bad,” Kennedy said in a podcast.
“Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison. You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice, you’re either given KFC or Big Macs,” he said.
According to news agency AFP, Kennedy flew with Trump aboard his plane to an Ultimate Fighting Championship bout in New York on Saturday along with Musk and Donald Jr.
The four were seen seated in front of trays of McDonald’s food.
Kennedy could be seen holding an opened burger box, with fries and a bottle of Coca-Cola in front of him.
On November 5, ahead of the US presidential election, Trump and Kennedy, a scion of the famous Democratic political family, campaigned together, promising to tackle processed food among other priorities.
Announcing Kennedy’s nomination, Trump said that “for too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies.”
Donald Trump’s plan to appoint Robert F Kennedy Jr, to lead the Health and Human Services Department will put a prominent vaccine skeptic at the helm of the nation’s sprawling public health apparatus, the Associated Press reported.
Kennedy made a name in his own right as an environmental attorney who successfully took on large corporations including DuPont and Monsanto.
But over the past two decades, he increasingly devoted his energy to promoting claims about vaccines that contradict the overwhelming consensus of scientists.
