A 39-year-old man has been convicted of raping another man in a park in the middle of Norwich city centre and faces jail.
The victim of the horrifying late-night attack cannot be identified for legal reasons but is over 16.
Idrees Jaff attacked the man at 11pm on June 10 last year near the bandstand in Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich – and was arrested a week later.
He has been found guilty of two counts of rape and pleaded not guilty to both offences, as the Eastern Daily Press reported.
He was convicted by a jury at King’s Lynn Crown Court on December 20 last year.
Jaff, of Berners Close, will be sentenced on February 19.
