A man and a woman have been arrested after a three-month-old baby died at a house in Kent.
Police are investigating the child’s death at a property in Athelstan Road, Canterbury, at around midday on Sunday.
There was a huge emergency response to the incident, with reports of six police cars, four ambulances and social services at the scene.
Ambulance crews arrived at the scene first and called the police, who arrived at the house soon after.
Kent Police said a man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested in relation to the baby’s death.
They have since been released on bail while the investigation is ongoing, the force added.

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Kent Police was called by the South East Coast Ambulance Service Canterbury following the death of a three month old child.
‘A man and a woman, both in their 30s were arrested and have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.’
